End of Term Letter

Dear Parents,

Namaste!

Exactly a year ago, we formally moved to the digital platform for teaching and learning.  Advancing the new session was a tough call we took. However, today, when we look back, as educators, we are more mature, more equipped and empowered, more knowledgeable and trained, more empathetic and compassionate.  As a school, we  stood up to the challenge and have gone beyond our promise of imparting quality and holistic education to our learners.

The biggest lesson learnt during the pandemic is ‘Despite all odds, the show must go on’.  And here we are, gearing up for another eventful and memorable year.  We may have to begin the new Academic Session for Grade I-VIII in June virtually as we did for Grade IX, X and XII in April.  As the situation gets better, we will all go back to campus gradually.

To help us and our learners get back to school, we urge every parent and the above 18 members of each and every Billabong family to get vaccinated.  This is the only ray of hope to get back to normal life at the earliest. Also keep following the Covid protocol for maximum safety.

To My Beloved Learners

I wish every Billabongite and kanga baby, a safe and relaxing summer break.  All of you have done marvellously well during the challenging academic year.  Rejuvenate yourself by reading good books, exercising, helping the elderly and the young at home.  Create your own routine for enjoying your summer break to the fullest. We, your educators, will keep learning and enhancing our knowledge and skills even during this time so that we can share with you new learnings when you get back into your classrooms.

The year has taught us perseverance, fortitude and resilience.  All of these pave way for a new beginning…stronger, more fruitful and enjoyable.

We will be uploading all necessary information on our school app.  Please keep checking it regularly for important notifications.

Stay safe. Stay healthy.  Prayers for all Billabong and kangaroo kids Families.

God bless you.

Regards,

Kalyani Chaudhuri

Principal
